Barragga Bay and Four Winds (2019-)

I go to Bermagui, on NSW's far south coast every year at some point it seems, to work on projects big and small. I'm very lucky to have a big supportive community of music lovers in Barragga Bay, a relationship that began in 2013 as a member of the Auric String Quartet who did a month long residency in partnership with ANAM and completely fell in love with the place.

It has been a joy and genuine privilege to work in peace there so often over the past 5 years, including a critical 3 months during the worst of 2020, and in residence with trumpet player Callum G'Froerer in 2022.

My special thanks to Sheena Boughen, Di and Ken Haskell, the Gantner family, and the wider Barragga Bay/Bermagui scene for their ongoing support, and to the Four Winds Festival for supporting my residency with Callum G'Froerer. The photos below say pretty much everything.
